B/A Stars one point away from Premier League return

*Former Premiership campaigners B/A Stars are on the verge of a return to the top flight following todays results in Zone One of the Division One Middle League. *

B/A Stars, formerly B/A United defeated Bazooka Stars 4-0 at Abrankese this afternoon and could qualify back into Ghana’s elite division for the first time in ten years if they avoid defeat against Bechem United on Sunday at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.

Bechem also beat Upper East United 2-1 at the Baba Yara in the other game and have a chance themselves if they can notch a win in Sunday’s decisive fixture.

B/A now leads the Zone One log on 6 points with a +5 goal difference, followed closely by Bechem on 4 points.

Ark Sports investigations have revealed a plot by certain fans of B/A Stars to intimidate and take revenge against Bechem in response to the ordeal they went through in Bechem during the regular season.

Adequate security at the Baba Yara on Sunday is paramount.
