BONFRERE To Apply For Black Stars Job?

JOHANNES BONFRERE, who was dismissed by the Nigerian Football Federation (NFA) last week, after a string of poor performances, is reported to be interested in the vacant position to coach the Ghana national team -Black Stars.

The Dutchman, who clinched the Olympic gold medal for Nigeria in 1996, was not available for comment. However, unconfirmed reports indicate he plans to apply once he gets out of Nigeria. He's at the moment, in Lagos, waiting for his salary before departing for the Netherlands.
According to FA Vice Chairman, E.A. Owusu-Ansah, Bonfrere has neither applied for the job nor been in touch with the GFA.
