Brong Ahafo United Get New Chief Executive Officer

The Board of Directors in consultation with the council of Patrons of Brong Ahafo United have appointed Mr. Kojo Yeboah Fordjour former chairman of the club in the nineties now a prominent businessman and the immediate past regional chairman of the new patriotic party as the new chief executive officer of the club for five years term of office starting from the 2007/2008 season.

The board took this bold decision based on the fact that ,B/A UTD as a club in this crucial period of its history need a person with the capacity and capabilities of that of Kwadwo Yeboah Fordjour to lead the club to its promised land that is the premiership.

The new chief executive officer and his team of executives who are to be appointed within two weeks of his appointment are expected to work industriously and professionally towards an ideas oriented and sponsorship driven administration ensure that B/A UTD is planted permanently in the elite division The above mission and vision has been set for Mr. Fordjour and his new team of executives to propel the club which is about to celebrate its golden Jubilee of its birth which is in three years time.

The good people of the region including its sons and daughters and even the angels in heaven cannot avoid to be annoyed if this great occasion finds the club in lower division than the premiership. It is the wish of the Board of Directors that some legacies that the new CEO and his team will give to the club by the it celebrates its 50TH birthday in 2010will include the club own bus, club house, club’s own training pick or park and prominent sponsorship which can stand the test of time in terms of finance and also make the club united .

In another development the council of patrons has accepted the recommendations of the present Board Of Directors to elevate Mr. Joseph Nii Adjin Lartey the out-going CEO to the enviable position as a director of the club.

On behalf of the club and the teeming supporters of the club and its numerous sympathizers as well as the good people of Brong Ahafo Region ,the Board and the council of patrons welcome both Mr. Kwadwo Yeboah Fordjour and Mr. Joseph Nii Adjin Lartey as the CEO and Board member respectively to their new position of trust.

Lastly ,it is the wish that the rank and file will co-operate with the new CEO to carry the club to where we all desire the club to be. All hand must be on deck for in unity lies strength .Let us all swim together to save the APOSTLES OF POWER SOCCER THE PRIDE OF BRONG AHAFO. THANK YOU
