Wolfsburg 1-1 Nurnberg
Wolfsburg grabbed a point at home to Nurnberg thanks to Juan Menseguez. The Argentine levelled with 16 minutes to go after Ivan Saenko had put Nurnberg ahead after just seven minutes. Hans Sarpei(Wolfsburg) played the full 90 minutes. Isaac Boakye replaced Mike Hanke after the break .

Reggina 2-2 Livorno Fourth-placed Livorno seemed well in control as Fabio Galante and Cristiano Lucarelli scored to put them 2-0 up at halftime. Reggina, however, pulled level through Rolando Bianchi and Julio Leon then forced the visitors to hang on for a point after the late sending-off of Dario Passoni.

Parma were reduced to 10 men in the 38th minute, when Vincenzo Grella was sent off for a second bookable offence. Catania responded with a Gionatha Spinesi penalty and a goal by Fabio Caserta, both in the second half, to climb to sixth in the division, one point behind fourth-placed Livorno. Ajax dropped to third place in the Dutch league, losing 3-0 at Sparta Rotterdam. Ajax played with 10 men for most of the game because midfielder Wesley Sneijder was sent off while disputing a yellow card in the 13th minute. Anthony Obodai played in midfield for Sparta.

PSV 5 - 0 FC Utrecht
PSV Eindhoven extended their lead at the top of the Eredivisie with a 5-0 romp over Utrecht. Eric Addo(PSV) started from the bench, as usual, and was called upon in the 71 minute. Francis Dickoh(Utrecht)had a terrible day in the center of defence
