Yahaya issues come-and-get-me-plea to Kotoko

Versatile Ghanaian player Yahaya Mohammed has issued come-and-get-me-plea to Ghanaian giants Kotoko and Hearts as he nears Ittihad Tripli exit. The 25-year-old is on the verge of cancelling his contract with the Libyan outfit following their elimination from the CAF Confederation Cup. The suspension of football activities in the North African due to political unrest has gingered him to fast track the termination of his contract with the side, alongside compatriot Nuru Sulley.

The former OGC Nice enforcer has insisted he’s interested in a move to the two clubs but added he will not talk more about the matter until a formal request is tabled for him.

Mohammed left Kotoko in November last year under controversial circumstances but has put himself in a position to stage a return to the club.

Hearts have also long been linked with the former Amidaus Professionals loanee and could launch a bid for his services.

“If my club agree to terminate my contract, I am available to sign for any of them (Kotoko and Hearts),” he told Adom FM

“I have played for Kotoko before and so I know the psyche of the club. But at the moment, I am free to sign for the club which meets my expectations.

“I want to put a break on my next move and wait till I receive the best offer. But I’m interested in playing for both teams.”
