Volta Region Second Division League kicks off on Sunday May 3

Ho, March 19, GNA - The Volta Region Second Division League would kick off at all centres on Sunday, May 3. A release signed by Mr. Francis Dogbatse, Chairman of the Volta Region Football Association (RFA) copied to GNA Sports said payment of affiliation fees the Clubs would therefore start on Monday 23rd March, 2009 at the RFA secretariat and end on 14th April, 2009. The release said registration fees for old participating Clubs is 50 Ghana Cedis while newly promoted Clubs are expected to pay 70 Ghana Cedis with the cost of a player's registration card fixed at One Ghana cedi and Fifty Ghana Pesewas (1.50). Payment of affiliation and registration fees of 40 Ghana cedis and one Ghana cedi respectively for Fourth Division Clubs is fixed for 7th April, 2009. The release said a day's Congress for all Clubs would be organized at the Ho Sports Stadium on 14th April, 2009 at 1000 hours. It entreated all Clubs to respond positively to the programme and appealed to organizers and management of the Clubs to contact the RFA secretariat for further directives.
