Tema Youth coach Augustt goes AWOL

Tema Youth coach Ken Augustt has absconded from the club with no intention of returning.

The former Great Olympics helmsman is reported to have cited interference from the team's technical director Kuuku Dadzie for his decision.

Augustt played no part in the club's shocking 2-0 win over Champions League campaigners Ashgold in the opening game of the GT Premier League last Sunday

"I went to the training grounds on last Tuesday to settle the dispute between the two men but Ken left without hearing from management," Tema Youth board secretary Winfred Osei Parma told Ghanasoccernet.com .

"I decided not to get back to him because we were then preparing for our opening league game.

"I think the two will have to patch up their differences."

Despite Augustt?s threat not to return to the club, Tema Youth management is keen on meeting the two renowned coaches to find a lasting solution.

Augustt went to Denmark on a three-month refresher course and was expected to impart his new technical ideas to the players to improve the fortunes of the club.

He was spotted at the EL-Wak Sports Stadium during the Hearts- Olympics encounter, prompting rumours that he is keen on a move to join the Phobians.
