Taywood Bowl golf on Oct. 19

About 120 amateur golfers would assemble at the Achimota Golf Course in Accra to vie for the Taywood Bowl championship trophy on Saturday, October 19.

Mr Geoff Fisher, Captain of the Achimota Golf Club said in Accra on Thursday, that the one-day event open to golfers from Achimota, Tema and Celebrity golf clubs, is being sponsored by Taysec Constructions Limited.

Mr Fisher said the company over the years, has been assisting the club in terms of rehabilitating the course and expressed the hope that a very keen competition would be witnessed.

Meanwhile, the Achimota Golf Club would travel to Ikoyi, Nigeria to play Ikoyi Golf Club in an international competition in November, this year.

The annual competition between the two West African states is aimed at strengthening the relationship between the two countries.
