Tagoe fires club into FA Cup final

Ghana under-23 striker Prince Tagoe scored a dramatic 93rd minute goal to take his Saudi Arabian club Al Ettifaq into the country FA Cup final.

The game against Ah Ahli was heading to 1-1 draw on Sunday night when the striker burst through with a curling effort to secure the win.

Tagoe will lead the attack of Al Ettifaq on Friday when they take Al Hilal in the final.

The youngster is the tournament’s leading scorer with five goals and could win a prize of US$50,000 if he maintains his lead after Friday’s game.

Tagoe is among Saudi Arabia’s most influential foreign players as he also among the top scorers in the league.

The Saudi Arabian league boasts of some of the best foreign players in Asia along with Japan.
