The Black Stars have held their first and final training session in Maputo on Saturday evening to prepare for tomorrow’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Mozambique.

GHANASoccernet.com understands 20 players trained under Avram Grant with Christian Atsu sitting out.

The Stars have been hit with massive injury crisis with skipper Asamoah Gyan and midfielder Mubarak Wakaso ruled out of the game.

In-form winger Frank Acheampong and defender John Boye are all carrying injuries with little possibility of playing in the game against the OS Mambas.

The Black Stars have taken a giant step towards securing qualification to next year’s Africa Cup of nations after pinching 9 points in their first three games of the qualification campaign.

Coach Avram Grant’s men finished second in the last Africa Cup of Nations and are huge favourites to challenge for the trophy in Gabon next year.
