Stars against HIV/AIDS

Accra, Dec 27, GNA An array of football stars will parade against an Ashantigold select side in a special Charity game at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium on Sunday, December 31.

The game being organized by Authentic Sports Networkx is aimed at raising funds for victims of HIV/AIDS.

Persons living with HIV/AIDS are expected to patronize the game which will have some players of the National team, the Black Stars joining forces with others to engage the 'Miners'.

Players expected to feature in the game, which is in its maiden edition include Richard Kingston, Sulley Muntari, Baba Armando, Mohammed Salou, Isaac Boakye, the Gyan brothers, Anthony Baffoe and Asamoah, among others.

Listowel Bukarson, an organizer of the game told the GNA Sports that the prime objective for the duel is to create the platform for the stars to help project the fight against HIV/AIDS whilst gathering funds in support.

'Enjoy the game, avoid HIV/AIDS' is the slogan for the encounter.
