Stars Play Faisal Today

The Black Stars play their final test game Thursday against King Faisal to wrap up their preparations for Sunday?s world cup qualifier against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa.

Ghana coach Mariano Barreto though missing the striking trio of Isaac Boakye, Augustine Arhinful and Charles Amoah would use this game to try out other striking options available to him.

Arhinful and Amoah have failed to show up after being called up by the national coach while Boakye is ruled out due to an injury.

Barreto has in his fold Ibrahim Tanko, Kojo Poku, Moses Sekyi, Nana Arhin Duah, Ablade Morgan and Bismark Ekye to pick his striking pair from.

But Tanko is still battling with a minor injury though he is hopeful of making it into the final squad for Sunday?s game.

The game against the premiership side, King Faisal on Thursday is the second test game for the Black Stars after being held to a goalless draw by the Hawks of Togo at the Kumasi Sports Stadium on Monday.
