Sponsorship package for Black Damsels

Accra, June 18, GNA - The National Under-14 team, the Black Damsels will soon benefit from an attractive sponsorship package that will provide the team with a sound backing in their preparations towards future competitions.

The package includes provision of exclusive training and camping facilities for the team and also create educational opportunities for them to enhance their academic pursuits.

The Damsels, winners of the recent Federation of International Football Federation (FIFA) organised Under-14 tournament in Switzerland, are expected to participate in a soon to be introduced FIFA Under-17 tournament in New Zealand next year.

Mobilia Sports Consult, a sports management company, the brain behind the deal has submitted a comprehensive proposal to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) for consideration before commencing with an extensive search for the needed funds from individuals and the corporate world to support the programmes of the team.

Mr Fadi Hamoui of Mobilia Sports Consult told the GNA Sports in an interview in Accra on Monday that they were motivated by the performance of the team in the recently FIFA organised Under-14 tournament held in Switzerland to decide to assist the young ladies. "There are a lot of potentials in the team and we believe with the needed backing they could be the world champions in future." Mr Hamoui noted.

According to Mr Hamoui the Consult has secured a land at Oyarifa for the construction of accommodation and camping facilities for the team.
