Show us the "witchcraft" in Ghana football-Peruvians

Changwon (SK), September 1, GNA - There was laughter and continuous hand clapping at the "Media Mixed Zone" of the Changwon Sports Complex when a Peruvian Journalist asked Coach Sellas Tetteh to show the "witchcraft" in Ghana soccer so that upcoming soccer countries would emulate them.

"Thank you for the win coach and for knocking out the South Americans in the competition. Would you please tell us in sincerity the magic behind or the witchcraft in Ghana football that makes you a better side in this competition so that weaker nations can learn from you", he asked.

The mention of the word witchcraft evoked unending laughter and clapping, perhaps to the admiration of the questioner and the confidence reposed in Ghana for exhibiting such good football in Korea. Some of the journalists described coach Tetteh as a wonderful coach who composes himself and always aims towards victory.

Coach Tetteh denied any such superstitions and said there was no witchcraft or magic in football but that it was through proper tactics, planning and determination to succeed that has made Ghana football to progress that far.

He expressed the hope that Ghana would beat Spain on Wednesday to book a place for the finals so as to lift the ultimate Cup to Africa.
