Seminar for premier league referees

Accra, Aug. 26 - GNA - The Ghana Football Association (GFA) will on Friday August 29 organise a one day seminar for all referees involved in the Kinapharma Premier League at the Accra and Kumasi Sports stadiums. Referee from the Northern sector of the country will be expected to converge at the Kumasi Sports Stadium while their counterparts from the Southern sector will meet at the Accra Sports Stadium.

A statement signed by Mr Kofi Nsiah General Secretary of the GFA said the seminar in obligatory to all referees who fall within the category and advised them 'to attend without fail.'

The move is welcomed by soccer lovers who have been castigating referees lately for their poor standard and bias in handling matches.
