Sekyere will join club in January Kotoko confirm

Kotoko have confirmed Asec Mimosa midfielder Mark Sekyere will join the club in January.

The 24-year-old has agreed will re-join the Porcupine Warriors when his current deal with the Ivorian side expires in December.

The Ghanaian giants have registered the combative defensive midfielder ahead of the start of the new season.

“Mark will join us after December. All paper works have been sorted out and hopefully he will join us,” Kotoko assistant coach Michael Osei said

“He will obviously be a good addition because he is top quality. This is Kotoko and strive for the best players.

“We hope to have him in our fold when the league kick-starts.”

Sekyere, who is regarded as carbon-copy of former French star Claude Makelele was groomed at Feyernord before he had a long stint at Kotoko in 2007-2008 season.
