SIC Presents Jerseys to GASS

The State lnsurance Company (SIC) of Ghana on Tuesday presented a set of jerseys valued at two million cedis to the Koforidua Polytechnic branch of the Ghana Association of Statistics Students(GASS) at a ceremony at Koforidua. The presentation was in a response to an appeal made by GASS to the SIC for assistance.

Mr Richard Afaglo, Tema Area Manager of the SIC made the presentation on behalf of the Management to the association which was received by its President, Mr Charles Kwame Amevedzi.

Mr Afaglo said the donation was in line with SIC social responsibilities as well as the existing cordial relationship between the company and the association. He hoped that the sports kits would go a long way to build their physical skills.

Mr Afaglo reminded the association of its civic responsibilities to

the nation and urged members to contribute their quota to the socio-economic development of the country.

He advised them to avail themselves with the SIC's lnsurance policies

for a better future.

Mr Bona Arkurst, Branch Manager of Koforidua office, urged them to patronise the company to serve as guarantee for themselves and their dependants.

He gave the assurance that SIC would continue to assist the association with its sponsorship packages.

The President of GASS, Mr Amevedzi expressed gratitude to the SIC for its kind gesture and hoped they would continue to sponsor their activities. He appealed to SIC to offer attachment to its members and also consider them for employment at the end of their courses.
