Renard fumes over ‘takataka’ organization

Zambia national soccer team coach Herve Renard has expressed his disappointment at the loss of significant training time due to chaotic travel arrangements to Kumasi.

In an exclusive interview with Zambianfootball.co.zm this morning before the team left for Ghana, the Frenchman said he was not pleased with the travel logistics.

“I can’t be happy with Zambian takataka organization,” Renard said.

When asked about how he rated his team’s chances in Kumasi Renard was confident of victory.

“We have to win, we just have to win,” he told the ZamFoot Crew.

FAZ has previously failed to put up proper preparations as was the case in the famous ‘London Fiasco’ when the national team had to field students in a friendly against Ghana due to failure to get the player in London on time.

Renard later expressed concern at the travel arrangements which were put up for the team soon after winning the 2012 AFCON when they traveled to Sudan on a commercial airline losing about two days in transit.

The team has since arrived in Ghana and reportedly settling in Kumasi.
