Referee Kotey to handle SWAG Cup Match

Accra, Dec 4, GNA - FIFA Referee Alex Kotey has been assigned to officiate the 2007 Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) Cup match between Hearts of Oak and Liberty Professionals scheduled for the Ohene Djan Sports Stadium on Wednesday, December 5.

Kotey, who participated in the just ended CAF Elite Referees and Assistant Referees Course to select match officials for the 26th MTN Africa Cup of Nations, Ghana 2008 will be assisted on the lines by David Agyin and Robert Dodoo.

A statement from SWAG named W. L. Quaye as the fourth referee with Joseph Wellington as the Match Commissioner.

The match is being sponsored by the State Insurance Company (SIC) and is to honour the late Henry Plange Nyemitei, a former Director of the company and a Patron of the SWAG. 04 Dec. 07
