Rabiu admits Krasnodar paid for excessive fouls in Russian Cup defeat

Ghana midfielder Rabiu Mohammed admits Kuban Krasnodar paid a heavy price for frequent fouls after exiting the Russian Cup.

Krasnodar suffered a 1-0 defeat in extra-time courtesy Maurício José strike at the Stadion Petrovskij.

And the Ghana international admits frequent fouls accounted for their quarter-final exit.

"It is good that we finished the match without injury, he told "p-sport" Rabiu.
"Unfortunately we committed too may fouls. I think we will be ready for the next game.

"In the extra-time, we violated several rules and we paid for it.
"Zenit have a very good team and committed less errors.
