Ghana is to raise two separate women national teams of the Black Queens for both the up coming World Cup in the United States and the All African games billed for Abuja, Nigeria.

A highly placed source chanced upon by the GNA Sports indicated that the management committee of the Queens is proposing the second team to be made up of new and young players who are currently camping with the first team at Winneba being prepared specifically for the world cup.

The team to be raised for the All African Games would be dominated by the rest of the Queens who would not be in the final team for the U.S campaign.

It is therefore evident that much would not be expected from the team for Abuja since the likes of midfield 'gem' Sheila Okine, goalkeeper Memunatu Sulemana, Patricia Ofori, Mavis Djangmah, Mavis Danso, skipper Alberta Sackey and Adjoa Bayor would be missing in action.

This exercise therefore called for new technical directors to assist the head coach Oko Aryee and his deputy, Mike Akpe to achieve the desired results.

The Queens had an automatic qualification from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) for the All Africa Games.

In Abuja, the Queen who would play their opening game on Sunday October 5, having been drawn alongside South Africa, Mali and Algeria.

The Queens opponents at the world cup are still unknown as the pairing is still not out.
