Promoted Wassaman could be sold to RTU

Newly promoted Wassaman United could sell their Premier League slot to relegated Real Tamale United.
The Tarkwa-based side claim they are ill-prepared for the elite division with less than two months to start of the 2011/2012 season.
Per the rules and regulations of the Ghana FA, clubs are allowed to sell their rights in takeovers.
Wassaman topped the Division One promotional play-off which ended last week with six points.
“I personally think we should contact RTU about the possibility of selling our promotion to them because we have not had the best preparation to play in the league as at now,” Chief Executive Kingsley Edmund Baidoo told Kumasi-based Angel FM.
He added: “I can understand most of our members are contemplating on moving the team’s base to the north so selling the club to RTU outright would not be a bad decision at all to me.”
