Polo wants GFA to concentrate on Sudan game

Former Black Stars hero Mohammed Polo has advised the Ghana Football Association to maintain its focus on the Black Stars upcoming World Cup qualifier and rest the issue about convincing the Ayew brothers to rescind their retirement decision.

Andre and Jordan have told the GFA they won’t be available for selection for the match against Sudan on March 24 at the Baba Yara Stadium. The duo had earlier requested to withdraw their services from the national team temporarily.

According to Mohammed Polo, the GFA can’t continue to waste time to convince the Olympique Marseille.

“It’s very unfortunate that the effort that the GFA have made has not yielded results yet but as a father you just don’t give up but what I want them to do is to concentrate on what is ahead of us,” he told Joy sports

“If they have to concentrate on this issue and nothing comes out it will be a disaster because time is not on our side but for me to say they should forget about them is not the best.”
