Plot to infiltrate Black Stars camp foiled

Footy-ghana.com can confirm that an attempt by a group of Egyptians to infiltrate the camp of the Black Stars has been successfully foiled.

According to our sources, the Ghana Football Association and the Ministry of Youth and Sports had requested that no Egyptians be allowed to book rooms at the hotel that the Ghana team would be residing in Kumasi ahead of the 2014 World Cup qualifier against Egypt on Tuesday.

Footy-ghana.com has however learnt that an attempt was made by an unknown Ghanaian travel and tour agency to get 20 Egyptians rooms at the same hotel. Footy-ghana.com understands that the attempt was foiled and security has been doubled around the hotel.

Our sources gather that investigations are ongoing to discover the identity of the Travel and Tours Agency and those responsible for attempting to get the rooms for the Egyptians.
