"Pay more for Taylor" - Kotoko Fans

Impressed by the performance of Charles Taylor in the match against Tano Bofoakwa last Wednesday, supporters of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Supporters who watched the match against Tano Bofoakwa have said that the amount Kotoko paid to secure the services of the player was "too small".

According to the supporters Taylor's performance in the match clearly shows that Kotoko should have paid even higher than what they paid for Taylor. This assertion runs counter to feelings among supporters of the club when they got wind of the fact that management had paid an additional ?400 million as training and development fee for the services of the player.

In statements laced with taunts and spiced with derision, Kotoko supporters called on the IMC to donate more money to hard up Hearts of Oak to enable them pay their colossal debts. The goal scored by Taylor as well as his skills brought the Sunyani township to its feet as they all fell in love with the Prince. His silky skills gripped the Brong Ahafo Region as people struggled to catch a glimpse of him while others took pictures of him to serve as a memorabilia to them. Kids and adults alike were seen touching him and boasting openly that they had touched Taylor.

The B.A. supporters said that they are ready to pay the extra money to Hearts because they believe Kotoko has cheated them in paying that small sum while Hearts should have also have been given 50% from a future onward transfer instead of the 40% agreed upon last Friday at the arbitration committee's sitting on Taylor's transfer to Kotoko.
