Parliamentary committee meets foreign-based players

The Parliamentary Joint-Committee on Education, Youth and Sports would meet all foreign-based players in the country at the Parliament House, Accra on Thursday, June 19 at 1:30PM.

A Statement signed by James Adusei-Sarkodie, chairman of the Committee, said the meeting would enable them and the players to hold fruitful discussions on the way forward for Ghana football and more especially the impending Group 13 African Cup qualifier against Uganda on Sunday.

The statement urged all players to endeavour to attend the meeting to help find a lasting solution to the nation's soccer problems.
