Paha denies Queens apppointment

Coach Isaac Paha has denied reports that he has been appointed coach of the national women?s football team, the Black Queens.

The former Black Starlets trainer is reportedly in line to take over the Black Queens coaching job from Bashiru Hayford.

But Paha, who coached Ghana to the final the under-17 world championship, hosted by Japan in 1993, told Joy Sports he had not received any appointment letter from the Ghana Football Association as being claimed.

Similarly, the GFA has stated that it has not made any such appointments.

Though the FA is still reconstituting the technical and management teams of the various national teams, Randy Abbey, spokesman for the federation, says there?s been no move to change the technical leadership of the Black Queens.

However, there are strong indications that Bashiru Hayford would not hold on to the Queens coaching job.
