Olympics are the under-dogs - Afranie

Emmanuel Kwesi Afranie, head coach of Accra Great Olympics has said that his side is going into the sixth week Kinapharma Premier League match against Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Sunday as the under-dogs at the Kumasi Sports Stadium.

The coach told the GNA Sports that though they are the underdogs, nobody should underrate them because anything can happen in the match.

He said his boys are preparing well for the game on Sunday and they are going to put an impressive performance against the league leaders.

Coach Afranie said he is going to rely on his usual players to do battle on Sunday adding that his side would definitely pick points in the match.

Commenting on the current form of Kotoko, the coach said they are very good side with determined players to achieve something for the club, but said technically there are loopholes in the team.

Coach Afranie said, he is going to capitalised on such loopholes to prepare my boys for Sundays' epic encounter.

" I can't predict the outcome of the match, but I must say I would repeat what I did with Hearts against Kotoko in 1997 at the same venue". The former national coach stated.

The Coach declined to comment on reports in section of the sporting media that fans of his former club, Kpando Heart of Lions are calling for his come back.

Coach Afranie said "its too early to make a comment on that issue because i'm currently working on a new project with Olympics".
