"Olele" in baptism of fire?

...Kingson to face Essien On Sunday
Birmingham City's Richard Kingson has received his international clearance, making him eligible to face Michael Essien's Chelsea on Sunday.

The Ghana international goalkeeper agreed a deal last month, and could line up against Jose Mourinho's side in Birmingham's opening fixture, with only the Premier League's rubberstamping required for his confirmation as Blues players.

A statement on the club's official website read: "Blues have finally received international clearance for goalkeeper Richard Kingson and winger Daniel de Ridder.

"Both players have been registered with the FA, which meant that they were eligible to play in Saturday's pre-season friendly game against Sheffield Wednesday, along with Liam Ridgewell and Franck Queudrue.

"The club is now just awaiting confirmation of all their registrations from the Premier League and this is expected to be received within the next few days.

"This will mean all members of the playing squad will be eligible to take part in Sunday's Premier League trip to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea."
