Okwahu to sack coach Sarfo Castro

Okwahu United will part ways with coach Osafo Castro after he failed to turn up for their opening National Division One League game against Dreams FC, GHANAsoccernet.com can exclusively reveal.

Skeletal staff of the cash-strapped Ghanaian second-tier side are livid with the attitude of the trainer and will dispense with his services.

Castro refused to travel with the team to Accra to honour their Division One League campaign over the weekend.

He will be asked to step aside as they find solutions to the myriad problems confronting the side.

The former Kotoko assistant coach is believed to be unhappy with the many financial issues crippling the club and complained bitterly about how the club is being managed.

Okwahu United lost 2-0 against the debutant.
