Oforikrom Ladies defied all odds to humble overrated Fabulous Ladies 5-3, in the ongoing Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly Women's Soccer League at the weekend.

The match, which was full of excitement, saw nimble footed Abdalla Mufida of Oforikrom Ladies, registering a hat-trick with the 25th, 65th and 77th minute goals, with Ruth Asante and Charity Ackaah adding their names to the score sheet to complete the rout.

Fabulous Ladies reduced the tally through Sheila Owusu in the 35th minute and in the 52nd minute, Dora Dufie levelled up for Fabulous Ladies through one of their quick counter attacks.

Just as the referee was about to end the game, Sheila Owusu managed to score her second goal for Fabulous Ladies to reduce the score to 5-3.

In the other matches, Goldfields Ladies beat GHATEL Ladies from Kumasi 3-0.

Cosmos Ladies also went rout pummelling less fancied Madona Ladies 5-0.

GHATEL Ladies from Sunyani also reduced Ash Town Ladies to mere minnows before sending them packing with an emphatic 5-0 win.

The match between Super Fire from Bekwai and Osei Tutu Ladies ended 1-0 in favour of the ladies from Ashanti Bekwai.
