Odartey Lamptey signs for Kotoko

Kumasi Asante Kotoko have firmed up former national star, Nii Odartey Lamptey?s registration with the Ghana Football Association.

All is now set for the player to play for Kotoko in the remaining matches of the GT premier league.

Odartey received his International Transfer Certificate from the Dubai football federation last Saturday.

Earlier attempt by Kotoko to have Odartey registered yesterday was rejected by the FA who demanded the contract document signed by the club and the player for perusal.

Odartey Lamptey made his first appearance for Kotoko in a competitive game when the Porcupine Warriors beat archrivals Accra Hearts of Oak to lift the president?s cup republic day.

With the contract concluded, Lamptey is expected to make his premiership debut on Sunday when Kumasi Asante Kotoko play Liberty Professionals on match-day-13 of the GT premier league.
