Sportscrusader.com can confidently confirm that Hearts of Oaks centre back Nuru Sule has safely arrived in Libya to sign $100,000 deal with Libyan Premier League side, Al-Ittihad.

Nuru who was expected to sign for a Moldovan top club side had to make a quick ‘U’ turn to accept the offer from the Libyans after the Moldovan deal collapsed at the last minute.

The Ghanaian defender has already agreed to all contractual terms offered him and is therefore expected to sign the deal today, Friday 18th July 2014 before he returns home next week Monday.

Hearts of Oak is also said to have agreed to the terms offered by Al-Ittihad and is also expected to sign their part of the deal on Monday after the player had returned home.

Al-Ittihad’s head Coach Baltemar Brito and club Chairman Salem al-Abyadh have both told sportscrusader.com that they were impressed with the quality the Hearts defender showed during the CHAN Tournament which influenced their decision to make a move for him.

“We are happy Nuru and Hearts have both agreed on the deal. The player is here with us and we expect to sign and seal the deal today, Friday 18th July 2014” Al-Ittihad head Coach Baltemar Brito said.

“He is a big player and our fans are happy he has agreed to join us because they all saw him during the CHAN Tournament and they were happy with his play”.

Al-Ittihad Sport, Cultural & Social Club is a Libyan football club based in Bab Ben Gashier, Tripoli, Libya. They have won the Libyan Premier League sixteen times, the Libyan Cup six times and the Libyan Super Cup ten times.
