Nigeria's Dream Team beat Nania

Nigeria Olympic team, Dream Team V, defeated Ghana FA Cup winners FC Nania 2-0 in a warm-up match Thursday at the East Legon Stadium in Accra.

The Dream Team won courtesy of goals by Sunday Nwadialu in the 74th minute and Sudan-based striker Francis Ikechukwu six minutes later.

“It was good physical test for the team against a very solid and youthful Nania side, who are also the Super Cup winners of Ghana,” Olympic team media officer Arafat Aliu told MTNFootball.com

“We are now looking forward to another test game on Sunday.”

The Nigeria U23s, who are preparing for the final qualifying tournament for London 2012 to be staged in Morocco later this month, paraded several of their regulars including goalkeeper Dele Ajiboye, Ganiu Oseni, Gbolahan Salami, Osas Okoro, Chima Akas and Edet Ibok.
