Newcastle boss checks on Kingston

Newcastle United boss Glenn Roeder was at Loftus Road last night to watch Ghana's 1-1 draw with Australia.

Roeder is believed to have made a check on Lokomotiv Moscow midfielder Laryea Kingston and said: "You don't often get the chance to watch Ghana play and they have produced some pretty good players in recent seasons.

"And, like Australia, they did pretty well in the last World Cup."
