New Sports Magazine to be launched

Accra, Oct. 12, GNA - The maiden edition of "The Business of Sport in Africa," a quarterly industry magazine, will be launched on Thursday October 21, 2010.

The magazine, meant for people seeking new professional paths and careers in sports business and events management, will be launched at British Council Hall in Accra.

Nana Kobina Nketsia V, Omanhen of Essikado Traditional Area and Nana Sam Brew-Butler, a sport administrator will jointly perform the launch.

The 52-page magazine is under the management of RICS Consult Limited, a leading integrated marketing communication consultancy firm in collaboration with Ethel-Jane Sports Business School (EJSBS).

According to the publishers, the magazine is a must-read journal for all stakeholders in sports such as sports associations, continental federations, corporate Ghana and institutions anticipating new businesses in the emerging sports industry.

The sports industry-quarterly also targets chief executive officers, senior managers, account directors, sales executives of marketing, advertising and Public Relations agencies as well as Sports tourism practitioners.
