Muntari not included in Milan Champs League squad

Sulley Muntari, who made a dramatic transfer deadline day move from Inter Milan to arch rivals AC Milan, has failed to make the Rossoneri's 25 man squad for this season's Champions League.

The 25-man squad released by the club's official website includes the other January signings, Algerian left-back Mesbah and striker Maxi Lopez.

Clubs are allowed to add three new players who have not taken part in the season's Champion's League at any previous club.

It was believed that one of the reason's AC Milan signed Muntari was because he had not taken part in Inter Milan's group games in the Champions League and was qualified to play for AC Milan in the knock-out stages.
