Muntari: "I will play Kotoko if given the chance"

Sulley Muntari has revealed he will play for Asante Kotoko if he is to play for any local club.

The Inter Milan midfielder did not hesitate at all in choosing the Kumasi-based club even though he played for Liberty Professionals when starting out his career when asked on TV3’s Diva Show aired on Saturday morning.

“I will choose Kotoko,” he replied.

Muntari, 26, however fell short in giving his definite club destination amidst reports of a possible move to Galatasaray and even to the US but insists he’ll only move when he feels the deal is right.

“Well, when the deal is good, why not?

“I like the US, its a fine country and their football is really developing so I don’t think I will have a problem at all moving there but the deal has to be right for my career,” he said.
