Moroccan referees to handle Ghana-Benin U-20 qualifier

Accra, Sept. 23, GNA - Referee Ramsis Khalid will direct affairs from the middle as he leads Moroccan match officials to handle affairs for this weekend's Africa U-20 qualifier between Ghana's Black Satellites and their Beninois counterparts in Cotonou. The Satellites will play as guests of their Beninois counterparts in the ultimate round first leg clash of the qualifying series of the 17th edition of the African U-20 Championship. Information gathered by GNA Sports from the Confederation of African Football (CAF) headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, indicates that he will be assisted on the lines by compatriots, Rouani Bouazza and Lahmid Mohamed. Jiyed Redoane, also of Morocco will serve as the fourth official. The Satellites, reigning World and African champions will host the return encounter on October 24. The winner after the two legs will confirm her place at the tournament to be staged in Libya from March 18 to April 1, 2011.
