Micky Charles Appointed CEO Of B/A United

The Board Of Directors of Brong Ahafo United have appointed ace sports journalist Charles Kwadwo-Ntim aka Micky Charles as the new CEO of the club for a period of two years after an emergency meeting . This follows the resignation of Mr. Kwadwo Yeboah Fordjour as the CEO about a month ago.

In a telephone interview with Micky Charles, he confirmed his appointment and said his immediate plan is to register the best of players for the 2008 Division One League after which he will seek the support of the past chairmen and also the leadership of Brong Ahafo Region to make sure the one time Apostles of Power Soccer take its rightful position in Ghana football.

Asked to speak about rumour engulfing the region that Mr.Herbert Kwabena Amponsa Mensah is joining him to run the club, Micky Charles said, "The fact is, Herbert is a my God Father and friend but for now there is nothing like he joining me to run B/A UTD. Herbert called to congratulate me,ask me to plan well,be God fearing and always ready to assist in any kind when the need be that is all". I'm not surprised because in the past , I was approached many times to get him to run the club by a section of the fans.

The new CEO ended by calling all disgruntled supporters of the club to put the past behind them and see how best the club can be moved forward.Micky said,his doors will be opened twenty four hours for anybody who wants to talk to me about the darling club of Brong Ahafo he concluded.
