Michael Otto lauds Sellas Tetteh

Black Satellites player Michael Otto is of the view that head Coach Sellas Tetteh still remains the best man to lead the team for the upcoming FIFA World Youth Championship in New Zealand.

The under fire head coach has been lambasted after reports indicated unhealthy relationship exists between himself and the Black Satellites Management Committee Chairman, Wilfred Osei Palmer.

Pundits have called for the sacking of Sellas Tetteh from the Black Satellites team with Mas Ud Didi Dramani likely to be his successor.

But Black Satellites player Michael Otto says Sellas remains the best coach to lead the team for the upcoming World Cup.

“He is our coach and we like him, he has done it before when it comes to the world cup and the African cup, he did it with the Dede Ayew led team so why can’t he do it this time?”

Meanwhile the Unistar Academy player credited Sellas Tetteh for his fine form during the African Youth Championship in Senegal.

“As a footballer you need to listen to the coach and I am glad that when he gave me the chance I excelled in the matches I played”.

Otoo who was named as the Man of the Match against South Africa in the opening game in the African Youth Championship is likely to be named by Sellas Tetteh among his final squad for the upcoming World Youth Championship in New Zealand.
