Michael Helegbe linked with Asante Kotoko

Asante Kotoko are weighing up a deal to sign former Ghana Olympic captain Michael Helebge from Liberty Professionals.

The FA Cup finalists want to replenish their squad and have identified the 26-year-old who played cameo roles to help Liberty survive demotion.

Kotoko have reportedly held secret talks with the former Guingamp winger and has agreed in principle to join the Porcupine Warriors for next season.

Helebge netted six times in the second half of last season for Liberty.
