Metro Stars beat Vipers

Cape Coast, Aug. 20 GNA - An individual effort by midfielder Bernard Dolphin enabled Sekondi Metro Stars to pip Cape Coast Venomous Vipers 1-0 in their Division One League match played at Cape Coast on Wednesday. From the start of proceedings it was Metro Stars who started the game strongly and earned a free-kick from which Dolphin sneak through to slot into the net for the only goal of the match. Vipers returned the attack and created several scoring chances but their strikers failed to utilize them. The other results of the league matches were: Sekondi Eleven Wise beat Winneba Windy Professionals 4-2 while Ebusua Dwarfs were spanked 1-4 by Feyenoord.
