Mali Coach predicts doom for the Black Stars

Mali’s Head Coach Patrice Carteron has predicted doom for the Black Stars on Thursday when the two teams clash at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.

He told reporters that even though the Black Stars have quality, Mali will match Ghana boot for boot on Thursday.

“Niger is history now. The next match will be crucial because we know the Black Stars of Ghana. They have quality but we will match them on Thursday.

We want to get two wins in two games so we can qualify to the next round and that is our aim. That is why we came here for, and there is no escape route for the Black Stars on Thursday.”

He further added that the team will not rest or rely on their oars but are going to train feverishly ahead of their crucial game against the Black Stars.
