Madrid, Dortmund & Fulham Chasing Ransford Osei

Several European clubs, including Atletico Madrid, Borussia Dortmund and Fulham, are chasing Ransford Osei - one of the key members of Ghana's Under-20 World Cup winning side.

The young striker will turn 19-years-old next month, but already has considerable experience at international level and with Maccabi Haifa, his parent club.

He joined Twente on a year-long loan last summer, but has struggled to make an impact in the Eredivisie.

Osei has a contract with Maccabi Haifa until 2012, but it does not appear as though he will see it through until its end.

Scouts from major European clubs were watching him during the recent World Cup in Egypt, and he may be on show in the senior event in South Africa next summer.

Twente have an option to buy Osei at the end of his loan deal, but the player has admitted on television stations in Ghana that he may leave for a bigger club in the near future.

"My future depends on Maccabi Haifa, but I'm ready for any challenge. My dream is to play in a major European league but I don't have a preference at the moment," Osei is quoted as saying, and his relatives have confirmed the player's wishes to Goal.com.

It is also believed that the player has a minimum fee release clause of €3 million with Maccabi Haifa, which is well within the financial reach of the likes of Atletico Madrid.
