MTN FA Cup enters round of 32

The MTN FA Cup competition enters round 32 this weekend with mixed fixtures that would see some Premier League Clubs locking horns with lower Division clubs.

Some of the Premier Clubs would also have to square off with each other, as well as the lower division clubs in search of a place in the next stage of the competition.

According to the fixtures released by FA Cup Planning Committee, copied to GNA Sports, Tema Youth would take on Aduana Stars on Thursday, March 15, with Wassaman United battling Ebusua Dwarfs in an all Premier League Clubs affair.

Premier League side Kpando Heart of Lions will travel to engage Second Division side, Tarkwa United on Saturday, whilst Yegoala FC would have to wait on the winner of New Edubiase United/ B.A. United clash who case is pending before the Disciplinary Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).

Defending League champions and Confederation of Africa Football (CAF) campaigners, Berekum Chelsea would play Unity Stars on Sunday, March 18, whilst Accra Hearts of Oak would also wait on the FA to decide on a case between them and Kintampo Sharp Arrows to decided who takes on Dunkwa United on March 18.

Current League leaders Kumasi Asante Kotoko would host former league side, Sekondi Hasaacas at the Baba Yara Stadium, Kumasi on March 18, with Ashantigold taking on King Faisal also on the same day at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.

In other matches fixed for Sunday, March 18, Inter Allies would play Berekum Arsenal with Eleven Wise engaging Kyenkyenkye.

Elmina Sharks and Kfc Samosa's match would be played on Monday, March 19 with Danbort FC having to wait on the outcome of the B.A. Stars/Kotoko Royals match to be able to play the winner on March 19 as well.

The matches between Golden Eyes and Amidaus Professionals, Sp Mirren and Deportivo, Upper East/All Stars vs Pure Joy FC and Liberty Prof. vs Westlandes/Medeama would be played on March 20, pending the outcome of some cases before the Disciplinary Committee of the FA. **
