Liberty goalkeeper Daniel Agyei claims foreign offers

Goalkeeper Daniel Agyei claims offers have been made to him over a transfer move but insists he will only move at the behest of Liberty Professionals.

The 25-year-old has been back in the Ghanaian top flight for almost a year now following failed stints with South African club Free State Stars.

Agyei, a FIFA U20 World Cup winner in 2009, is now one of the few experienced players in the predominantly young squad at Liberty.

But the goalkeeper says offers have been made for his services but will only move once his current club are satisfied with terms.

“There are some offers, but I am only focused on football and will want the club [Liberty] to handle that,” he told Sportscrusader.com.

“If the club says I should move, I will move but if they so no then I will stay and play my football.”

Liberty Professionals finished the first half of the Ghana Premier League season in 7th place.
