League kicks start on April 3

Accra, March 18, GNA - The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has stated that the 2005 Ghana Telecom (GT) Premier League would kick start on April 3, as originally scheduled.

The GFA in a statement signed by Mr Kweku Ampim Darko, Deputy General Secretary of the GFA, copied to the GNA Sports reminded all the participating Clubs to ensure that they are in good standing with the association before the commencement of the season.

The statement said the clubs must submit their certificates of incorporation as limited liability companies either by guarantee or by shares.

It added that the participants must purge themselves of all fines imposed on them during the last league season as well as settle their affiliation fees.

The GFA also advised the Clubs to submit their audited accounts fro scrutiny.
