Laryea urges brother Richard Kingston to move to Israel

Midfielder Laryea Kingston has urged his brother and Ghana first choice goalkeeper Richard, who is unattached, to join him in Israel.

The shot-stopper, 33, is still looking for a job after relegated English Premier League side Blackpool released him.

Kingston himself was without a club for six months after terminating his contract with Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem in December last year.

The 30-year-old winger signed for Hapoel Be’er Sheva this summer and scored a free-kick on Saturday in their 3-0 win over Beitar Jerusalem to win the Toto Cup.

He believes the Israeli League will be good for the former Wigan and Birmingham City gloves man.

“Richard Kingson still has more to offer Ghana football and the only way to keep that up is to keep playing week in, week out. Israel will not be a bad place to continue with his career,” the former Hearts of Midlothian player said.

“His presence here will do the Israeli league a lot of good because of his rich experience so hopefully he can join me here.”
