Kwadwo Asamoah says Inter Milan are full of confidence ahead of the new season and remains defiant about breaking Juventus impeccable hold of the Serie A crown.

The Old Lady of Italian football clinched a record-breaking sixth title last season to underline the credentials as the king of the game in their country.

The Ghanaian super star was a fairly part of the decent run of the Turin giants.

But switching to rivals Inter Milan, the 29-year-old says the Nerazzurri are ready to challenge for the Scudetto.

“I am with Inter and I am fine, everyone is working in the best way. Right now there is a bit of tiredness due to all the training that is very hard. But there is a desire in the group to do well and a positive attitude,” he is quoted by Corriere dello Sport.

“Everybody starts the championship with the same amount of points. The team is convinced to do our job well and that we have all the means to steal their satisfaction.”

The versatile African talent is expected to be key for Coach Luciano Spalletti ahead of the Serie A this season.
